How fatigued were YOU today?

What is fatigue?

Most of you reading this can answer this question, because you probably feel the symptoms. But fatigue is generally defined as a feeling of lack of energy and motivation that can be physical, mental or both. In addition individuals often described fatigue using a variety of terms including, Weary, tired, exhausted, malaise, listless, lack of energy and feeling rundown.


What are the first signs of fatigue?

  1. Chronic tiredness or sleepiness

  2. Headache

  3. Dizziness

  4. Sore or aching muscles

  5. Slow reflexes and responses

  6. Impaired decision-making and judgment

  7. Moodiness, such as irritability.

Now that you understand the feeling that can overwhelm you on a constant basis. The question is how can you get past this?


What does it take to eradicate fatigue?

Here are a few things that you can implement in your day or your life to end the fatigue feeling.


  1. Eat often to reduce tiredness

  2. Get moving…

  3. Lose fat to gain energy

  4. Increase lean muscle tissue

  5. Sleep well

  6. Reduce stress to boost energy

  7. Cut out or reduce the caffeine

  8. Drink less alcohol

  9. Exercise daily, even a little bit will help

  10. Drink more water for better energy

To make these changes will take time. But if you focus on yourself and your well being on a daily basis, your life and energy will substantially improve! Soon others will see a difference in you and even comment on your energy, and the “vibe” you give off.
