When I was a kid, I used to buy muscle & fitness and flex magazines. I used to buy two. One to save and the other one to cut out pictures and put them all over my walls. I would say, “one day I’ll have a body that will be worthy of taking pictures too” I wanted to be just like the guys that I looked up to so much.
I wasn’t interested for the pics or for attention but more importantly for the recognition in myself that I was able to achieve what I set out to achieve.
Many role models say, “if you want something bad enough you just have to do what it takes to get it.” I believed those words, and I spent my time living them, and making them true in my own life.
And here we are 41 years later and my best advice to anyone who is trying to accomplish what their dreams are,
“Believe in yourself, never give up, never let anyone tell you what you can or cannot do, and give 100% to your aspirations and you will achieve your dreams. I did!”
